ENGLISH FOUNDATION

The English language is looked upon as the international language to get around with. This foundation module starts students off with basic words and phrasings used to greet someone upon meeting, before they learn how to introduce themselves to someone new.
The course also focuses on the usage of common everyday nouns, so students will be well equippedto handle situations such as asking for directions at the bus stop or explaining their favourite food. Units covered in English Foundation include self-introductions, greetings, counting with numbers, telephone conversations, occupations and how to ask for the time.

  • To be able to make appointments
  • To have knowledge on how to cancel an appointment appropriately when need arises
  • To know the different words and expressions used at the bus station
  • To understand the different terms used in the bus and traffic signals
  • To learn the words that used at the post office
  • To be able to ask questions at the post office
  • To be able to ask questions at the customs
  • To be familiar with the rules and regulations of the customs when going overseas
